Women of Worth - Move Up has been offered several times in te tai Poutini over the past 4 years, supporting over 100 women to make changes in their lives, whanau and well-being. Facilitated by Eli Maiava ((Waitaha, Mamoe, Ngai Tahu). This offering, will run over 7 weeks from February to April 2025. It offers a personalised approach within a facilitated group setting for wāhine looking for support on their journey to reclaim and step into their mana/worth and well-being. The group will be held on Thursdays from 10am-1pm at Whare Manaaki, 141 Tainui Street, Greymouth. This space and kaupapa are particularly designed for wāhine to make space for themselves and their needs, so young children are not able to come along. Women of all ages and cultures are welcome. The programme uses a range of tools and strategies to encourage assessment and reflection on key life areas. Small steps in these key life areas can lead to significant change for our wāhine. If you choose to enrol, we ask that you commit to regular attendance as the programme builds on each weeks learning and to maximise this opportunity for yourself.
